The following outlines the policies and procedures for obtaining Tee Times at the Fort Lewis Golf Course. This policy has been approved by the Golf Course Manager and I Corps Command at Fort Lewis. Questions or assistance pertaining to this policy should be directed to the Fort Lewis Golf Course Manager.

To obtain a Tee Time, visit the Pro Shop or call (253) 967-6522 at the designated times. Requests will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Individuals are authorized only one Tee Time per call, per day. Multiple Tee Times (per day) will not be authorized unless approved by the Golf Course Manager. Note: There will be no "sign-in or waiting list" of persons wanting to reserve a Tee Time.

Tee Times will be allocated to groups of three or more players only - no exceptions. “Fivesomes” are not permitted at any time. Those golfers who are singles or twosomes, may register with the starter on the day of play to be paired other singles and twosomes and inserted on a first come, first served basis. "Starter's Times" are intended for the use of the Golf Course Manager and the Official Starter, as a means to assist with special requests, walk-ons or to maintain pace of play. Starter's Times will not be booked in advance unless approved by the Golf Course Manager.

Courses/Starting Tees: Upon opening all 27 holes for the season, Tee Times for weekends and holidays will be scheduled on both the Red and Blue courses. Tee Times will be allocated, at a rate of eight minute intervals, on holes #1 (Red) and #10 (Blue) from 7:00 - 9:00 AM, then again from 11:30 - 1:30 PM.

Check In/Registration: In order to allow enough time to register in the Pro Shop and be at the assigned tee on time, all golfers should check-in at the Pro Shop at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time.

Weekdays: The Fort Lewis Golf Course has an open play, first come, first served tee time policy. We encourage golfers to call ahead to ensure course availability.

Fridays, Weekends & Holidays: Reservations will be accepted the Monday prior, beginning at 7:00 AM for Active Duty Military and Annual “Members.” All others may call beginning at 12:00 PM the Monday prior.

Starter: The Official Starter is responsible for conducting an orderly flow of play from each starting tee. The Starter will maintain a "stand-by list", then pair and schedule golfers to play, first come, first served as space is available. Golfers must be present and ready to play in order to qualify for the stand by list. Parties with Tee Time reservations who check-in with less than three players will have golfers from the stand by list assigned to their group. At the Starter’s discretion, groups may be held back who do not have the required minimum of three players.

Walk Ons: Walk Ons are welcomed and should check in with the Starter in so they can be inserted as space becomes available.

No-Shows: The Official Starter will maintain a list of those persons who fail to meet their Tee Time reservation or fail to cancel their Tee Time reservation in advance. Those found to be abusing this policy will be restricted from obtaining a tee time in the future. Please be considerate of your fellow golfers, if you cannot make your scheduled Tee Time, please phone ahead and let us know!

The Golf Course Staff will maintain this policy and report all abuses directly to the Golf Course Manager for appropriate action.
