We are an Army program that offers instructional programming in academics, arts, life skills and sports for infants through teens. Our mission is to offer inspiring classes that nurture the development of our Fort Lewis children, youth and families as we create opportunities for community and connection. Acting as a Career Workshops:
Location: Teen Zone
Dates: Tuesday June 17th and Wednesday June 18th Time: 4:00 to 6PM
Ages: 14-18
Cost: Free, but must register for both workshops at Central Registration
Join Skies for two workshops where students will meet actors who have professional acting and performing experience. The performers will share their stories and give students an opportunity to ask questions about acting and performing as a career. During the second workshop students will be invited to take part in theatre improvisation and scene study.
Art All Over
Location: Arts and Crafts building

Students have a blast making all kinds of art. This class explores painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture and more. Come dance with us! Dance is an excellent way to stay active, build confidence and have fun. Traditional Irish Step (solo) and Ceili (group) dancing will be taught in a fun and creative atmosphere. This class is designed for beginner and advanced beginner (ongoing) dancers and will teach on basic skills, posture, rhythm and form. The Natural Artist

The Painting Studio

Pint Size Picasso / Multimedia for young artists

Summer Camp: The Dance Experience!
Location: Summit Arena
Dates: Monday through Friday July 14-19, 2008
Ages: 4-7yr olds: 9:00 am-10:00am
8-12yr olds: 10:15am-12:15pm
Cost: $55 includes 5 classes plus a performance!
Students will have two hours of class Monday through Friday. Our 4-7 year olds will learn the dance techniques of Ballet, Modern and Creative Movement. Our 8-12 Year olds will be learning the dance techniques of Ballet, Jazz and Modern. In that time students will also have the opportunity to put together a short dance piece that showcases the skills they have learned. Both age groups will share their work on the Saturday directly following camp, in a free performance for their family and friends!

Tacoma Little Theatre Summer Drama Camp- A Week on the Peach

Come take a week long journey on the Peach, learn innovative theatrical skills and overflow with new friendships as students spend the week preparing to perform JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH!! Tacoma Little Theatre (TLT) will host this exciting week long adventure that showcases before family and friends at the end of the adventurous week.
